Supervision of the Head of BPS Lombok Timur Regency in the Area Sample Frame Survey

Wednesday, March 26, 2025 - The Head of BPS East Lombok Regency, Sri Endah Wardanti, SST, MM, conducted field supervision in Masbagik Timur Village in the context of the implementation of the Area Sample Frame Survey (ASF). This supervision is one of BPS' active steps in ensuring that data collection is carried out according to predetermined standard procedures and guarantees the quality of the data produced.

The Area Sampling Frame (ASF) is a survey method used to estimate the harvest area of food crops, especially rice and corn. This method relies on area-based mapping with satellite image technology and direct observation in the field. With the ASF method, it is expected that data on harvest areas will be more accurate and timely.
