BPS Contribution to Sectoral Data Verification and Validation

Thursday, June 19, 2025 - BPS Lombok Timur was invited to be a resource person at the One Data Portal & E-Walidata SIPD Sectoral Data Verification and Validation Activity Meeting. First Expert Statistician from BPS Lombok Timur Regency, Nurul Huda as the main speaker. Discussing the importance of metadata standardization and cross-agency sectoral data governance, as well as technical steps in uploading data to the Ministry of Home Affairs' E-Walidata SIPD appropriately and according to the provisions.

This activity was attended by supporting walidata and data operators from all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the East Lombok Regency Government. Head of the Kominfosan Office Dr. H. Fauzan, in his remarks as well as officially opening the activity, said that until June 19, 2025, there were 662 datasets that had been included in the One Data Portal of East Lombok Regency. He emphasized that each dataset needs to be verified and validated to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of the data before it is used as the basis for planning and decision-making.
