Synergy in Preparing for Beautiful Village 2026

Monday, January 19, 2026 - In order to strengthen the foundation of data-based regional development, the Head of the East Lombok Regency BPS coordinated with the Head of the East Lombok Regency Community and Village Empowerment Agency (PMD). This meeting focused on careful planning related to the 2026 Beautiful Village Program (Desa Cinta Statistik).

The Beautiful Village Program is not merely an administrative effort, but an important instrument for improving data quality at the village level. The implementation of this program is planned to provide tangible benefits to the community, including:

Optimization of Village Development: Supporting village officials in mapping the potential and needs of the region, so that the village budget is used for programs that have the most impact on the welfare of residents.

Improved Public Services: Encouraging digitization and easy access to village data to accelerate administrative processes and community service delivery.

Transparency and Accountability: Realizing open village governance, where the community can monitor the village's progress through clear statistical indicators.

Through close collaboration between BPS and the PMD Office, it is hoped that Desa Cantik in East Lombok Regency will be able to transform into a data-independent village in order to realize equitable development.
