Lombok Timur Poverty Profile 2018-2022

Poverty is a fundamental issue that captures the attention of governments worldwide. The eradication of poverty and the enhancement of social protection for the impoverished population stand as top priorities for the government, as outlined in Presidential Regulation Number 18 of 2020 on the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RRPJMN) for the years 2020-2024. The successful implementation of this agenda necessitates the active participation of various stakeholders, including the central government, local authorities, and private enterprises. An integral aspect crucial to supporting the Poverty Alleviation Strategy is the provision of accurate poverty-related data. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) strives to present such data, exemplified by the publication titled "Poverty Profile of East Lombok Regency 2018-2022." Through this publication, the BPS offers data and information concerning poverty, along with indicators/variables associated with the poverty issue in East Lombok Regency. The data and information presented in this publication are the outcomes of calculations derived from the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) conducted between March 2018 and 2022. It is hoped that the publication of the Poverty Profile of East Lombok Regency 2018-2022 can provide adequate information for all parties involved.
